Initially the baby skin is covered with a yellowish-white, greasy material. It is easily washed off in the first bath. Incompatibility between mother’s and child’s blood group can cause the baby skin to be stained yellow. In such cases, the doctor immediately takes steps.

Blue patches in certain areas are visible initially, but they disappear on their own.The extra fairness in the natal stages should not be interpreted as fair complexion.
